Just want to share… the Parenting session was amayyyyzing…especially all the spiritual aspects in the latter half….Subhan’Allaah.
Alhamdulillah, it was brilliant…You have great guests who know their subject matter inside and out, and you are all passionate in looking at the child/person as a whole, rather than trying to fix a component part…. more people need to be aware of the interconnectivity of our Mind, Heart and Gut. Funnily enough, we did an introduction to prophetic Medicine course and how it affects our temperaments, and how different aspects will affect our mindset and overall health …..so we were avid listeners as usual. May Allaah reward you for the hard work you are putting into this. Can’t wait for the next one. (Maymoonah)
Excellent course, never come across anything like it…Parenting Masterclass…The Islamic Way… I feel blessed that I have had access to this information/mindset before I become a parent myself…I am now equipped with a more mindful way of looking at children and the impact we can have on their lives (both +ve and -ve ). Subhan’Allaah (Anisa)
In my experience, if I found myself saying, “I don’t need to learn that. I already know it.” That’s when I REALLY needed to learn it. Whatever ever it was. The only problem is, I only realised it afterwards. Don’t make the same mistake. If you think you don’t need to learn something, assume you’re wrong and start learning. I’d bet you’ll find you were wrong. Get on as many of these lessons as you can. Even if you find you were right and you do know it all, it will serve to cement it in your mind, in shaa Allah. Assalamualaikum. Alhamdulillah. The more I listen to what you guys are trying to achieve the more I want to be a part of it (just not sure how!) ….as it resonates with my core values and beliefs as a parent and an overall human…. it ticks all the boxes as how we should be( as part of humanity)….. May Allaah Bless and Multiply all that you intend to do (Maymoonah)
I’m on this workshop and I was wondering how many men are listening. It’s difficult to tell but from what I can see there are very few. I wish the parenting education that’s available now was available when my children were kids. Then maybe I wouldn’t have made the mistakes I did. I would implore men who have young children, and those not yet married, to educate themselves about family and how to raise children. When you have the opportunity to gain this knowledge, grab it. Then maybe you won’t have regrets regarding your children when they get older. This knowledge is not an option: it’s essential. Especially for men. (Gulam)
